All tickets are dated, timed, personal (name-specific), and non-refundable.
A valid photo ID (passport or identity card) is required for entry to all museums and monuments. Entry will be denied without proper identification.
Large bags, backpacks, and suitcases are not allowed inside museums or archeological areas. Only small bags are permitted. There is no cloakroom service.
Visitors must pass through security checks with metal detectors. Wait times may be 20–30 minutes.
Please arrive at the meeting point at least 20 minutes before the tour starts. Late arrivals are considered no-shows and are not entitled to refunds.
A modest dress code is required for entry to religious sites and the Vatican Museums: shoulders and knees must be covered. No shorts or sleeveless tops. Failure to comply may result in refused entry.
