Identification and Entry Requirements
- A valid photo ID is mandatory to enter all monuments. Accepted IDs include a passport, driver’s license, national ID, or student ID.
- At the start of the tour (or beforehand), you will be required to provide your full name and date of birth.
- The name on your ID must match the name provided during booking. Mismatched or missing data may result in denied entry without a refund.
Dress Code
- To enter the Vatican Museums, St. Peter’s Basilica, and places of worship, a strict dress code is required:
Shoulders and knees must be covered for both men and women.
Sleeveless tops, shorts, or revealing clothing are not permitted.
Failure to comply may result in refusal of entry without a refund.
Meeting Point and Timing
- The meeting point is at our Check&Go Office, Via Sebastiano Veniero 21.
- Due to timed entries, arrive at least 20 minutes before the scheduled start time.
- Late arrivals cannot be accommodated, and rescheduling is only possible by repurchasing the activity at full cost.
Tickets and Group Admission
- Entry is granted via group tickets only; individual tickets are not available separately.
- Tickets are nominal, dated, and timed, and cannot be altered once issued.
Delays, Closures, and Security
- The tour start time may vary by 20 to 30 minutes for organizational or security reasons.
- Security screenings are mandatory at all entrances and may add 20–30 minutes to the wait time, especially during national holidays or major events.
- Access to some areas may be limited due to capacity regulations or institutional decisions.
- Important: The Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, or St. Peter’s Basilica may partially or fully close without prior notice due to religious functions or internal decisions.
In such cases, the itinerary may be adjusted accordingly.
No refunds will be issued for changes caused by these circumstances beyond our control.
Behavior and Safety
- The tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to guests who are intoxicated or behaving inappropriately. No refund will be given.
- All guests are required to follow security rules and guidelines throughout the tour.

- Each participant is responsible for providing a valid and active phone number, as well as accurate data. We are not responsible for miscommunications resulting from incorrect contact details.
- Please note: Tickets are dated, timed, and nominative (assigned to each participant’s full name). For this reason, they are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be modified under any circumstances once issued. Any late arrival, incorrect information, or name mismatch may result in denied access, with no possibility of rescheduling or refund.
- Please note: the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, or St. Peter’s Basilica may be partially or fully closed without prior notice due to special events, religious services, or institutional decisions. In such cases, no refund will be issued, and we cannot be held responsible for these changes, which are beyond our control.
What do I need to bring?
- Valid photo ID (Passport, national ID, driver’s license, or international student card) The name must exactly match the one provided at the time of booking.
- Booking confirmation voucher Printed or digital, showing the full names of all participants.
- Appropriate clothing Shoulders and knees must be covered to enter the Vatican Museums and places of worship. Comfortable clothing and walking shoes are recommended.
- Plastic water bottle Glass containers and alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
- Small backpack or handbag Trolleys, large luggage, and bulky bags are not permitted. No storage is available on site.

Stanze di Raffaello
The four rooms known as the Stanze of Raphael formed part of the apartment situated on the second floor of the Pontifical Palace that was chosen by Julius II Della Rovere (pontiff from 1503 to 1513) as his own residence and used also by his successors. A hot visit to the Colosseum!
Had to collect tickets from a shop near to the Colosseum – lady there was most helpful in explaining where we needed to go and to download apps to our phones for the self audio guide (also gave us some free water with the heat!). Found the entrance easy and then enjoyed the tour – only issue was that the GPS signal wasnt great inside so it was difficult to sync the audio guide to what we were looking at. Took a break before doing the Palatine Hill and Roman Forum – we went on a very hot day and it was hard work walking around – make sure you have plenty of water!! Surfaces were very uneven – which is understandble considering its an ancient monument.

Such an amazing place to visit, it’s easy to understand why this is a must see! The sites were fantastic, but the audio tour was too generic. There were some interesting clips, but not enough about what we were looking at when we were at different points and too much generic history. In retrospect we would have got a lot more from a guide, but it was very nice to go at our own pace.

This tour was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, everything was organized, engaging, and informative. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the history of the Colosseum to life with fascinating stories, little-known facts, and a real passion for Ancient Rome.
The skip-the-line access was a huge plus—no waiting around in the hot sun! We also got upgraded for an Arena tour and got to explore areas that aren’t always open to the public, which made the experience feel exclusive and even more special.
